The ACCL2019 conference program has been finalized and uploaded to the website. Please check it out!
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the 2019 conference of the Association of Chinese and Comparative Literature, to be held from July 17-19, 2019, on the campus of Hunan Normal University in Changsha, China. The deadline for receipt of abstracts has been extended to January 7.
The ACCL welcomes papers on a wide array of topics relating to Chinese literature and world literature, from the most ancient periods through the 21st century. We take a broad interpretation of what counts as “comparative”, and welcome proposals that use innovative research frameworks or scopes of analysis, even if they do not focus on comparison of distinct national literatures.
For more information, please see the official call for papers on our conference website: http://accl2019.hunnu.edu.cn/Call_for_Papers/CALL_FOR_PAPERS.htm. Please send abstracts for individual papers or full panels to accl2019conference@gmail.com no later than January 7.
Thanks very much, and I hope to see you in Changsha!
Daniel Fried
President, Association of Chinese and Comparative Literature
P.S.
The 22nd General Congress of ICLA will be held from July 29 to Aug 2, 2019 at the University of Macau, themed: Literature of the World and the Future of Comparative Literature.
